The handful of customers who gave reviews to this can opener gave it an average rating of 2.3 stars. Sadly, only two out of the six reviews gave it a 5.0-star rating while the remaining reviewers gave it a poor 1.0-star rating.
The two reviewers who liked it said that it worked great and that it was the best can opener they had ever had; it was considered inexpensive but performing well, with the motor not burning out. One of them also pointed out that the cutting mechanism was not made of plastic, and even shared that he intended to buy a second unit for backup in case the model would stop getting made.
Meanwhile, one of the reviewers who gave it 1 star said that it worked very smooth and opened cans beautifully, but elaborated that it only worked for about 9-12 months just past the warranty and then stopped being reliable. Other negative reviews included comments of being difficult to put together, with common complaints being the magnet that was supposed to clip into the handle not staying on and accidentally dropping into the opened can of food. They also pointed out that the opener did not automatically turn off as promised. They all warned buyers from purchasing this product.
